Free use of Schionning high performance catamaran.

Proposals are required from anyone interested in campaigning this boat or using it for the development of youth sailing or multihull competition. The successful proposal should be true to the spirit of the late owner, Klaus Scheid, who was passionate about speed, radical design and the development of a multihull racing fraternity.

The use of the boat is gratis.

The successful applicant would take over responsibility for all maintenance, running costs and insurance.

Twice winner of the Mykonos offshore multihull division, "Smart  One " is a pocket rocket. With a displacement of 800 kg and her free standing Carbon fibre masts and fully battenned sails she has often recorded sustained speeds in excess of twenty knots. She is an exciting ride, and surprisingly comfortable as a coastal camper.
The cutting edge design from the drawing board of the well respected Geoff Schionning is collapse -able and can be trailered behind a medium car. she has an excellent inventory including EPIRB, Tacktic solar powered wireless instruments, fortress tempered aluminium anchor. inflatable tender with 2 hp outboard and more
