Kendo is a traditional Japanese fencing martial art based on the teachings of the Samurai.  It is a safe & fun physical activity that can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age, personal fitness or athletic ability.

The classes are held in Stellenbosch (20min from Durbanville). If you feel it's too far to drive & there are others that are keen, a lift club from the Northern suburbs can be arranged.

The Maties Kendo Club (open to anyone, not just students) is running a new Beginners Course within the first few months of 2012. For more information or if you'd just like to come watch a class, please contact me.
