I manage all aspects of marketing communications and brand development in South Africa, Africa and Globally.
I develop and deliver against long-term marketing plans, objectives and strategic direction.
I deliver against KPI's and grow brand awareness, drive traffic, etc.
I manage, motivate and develop marketing teams.
I participate in structured Matrix forums; team meetings, trading, commercial, and central marketing (internal/external including travel).
I perform annual planning and implementation of all ATL/BTL media (printed literature/leaflets, press, outdoor, radio, TV, experiential, DM, local/national, sponsorship, in-store, web, digital/social, eNews, competitions).
I drive commercial campaign management and creative development/print production of above.
I ensure compliance with communications strategy including consumer targeting.
I make sure that there is consistent and relevant brand content across all communications channels.
I make certain that print deadlines are met and manage production process of marketing materials and POS.
I handle agency management and development of network support (creative agency/media planning agency/PR agency/research agencies, etc.).
I fully control annual marketing budget and deliver within year-end frames.
I deliver successful new store launches.
I manage all research studies, customer profiling, market insights, brand tracking and evaluating success of marketing campaigns including ROI.
I am responsible for marketing collateral, marketing literature and catalogue productions and BTL/ATL launches.
I perform competitor field tracking & analysis.
I generate coverage/content and drive process through PR & internal communications function (intranet, company news, product placement, press releases, reader offers, PR operations, crisis management, social media presence, etc.).
I strengthen relationships with internal and external resources (store teams, agencies, Head Quarters).
I handle event management including internal/external activities (conferences, fairs, store launches, campaigns, etc.).
I manage photography, proof reading, copywriting, image handling for all communications.
I do eComm launches.
I drive CRM launches.

Corporate and Business strategy formulation and implementation - over 10 years experience.
Marketing strategy formulation and implementation - over 10 years experience.
Marketing plans, programs, tactics and advertising - over 10 years experience in formulation, implementation, evaluation, measurement and control.
Internal and external business communications - over 10 years experience.
Integrated Marketing Communications - over 10 years experience.
CRM - over 10 years experience.
Competitor analysis and Strategic Analysis - 10 years experience.
Executive management - 5 years experience.
Brand management - over 10 years experience.
Customer relations and Customer Management - over 10 years experience.
Customer satisfaction and Stakeholder Management - over 10 years experience.
