Two bed roomed, self catering cottage on a smallholding in Vermont.
The cottage is perfect for a family of 4 or 5.
It has a main bedroom with a double bed and kids bedroom with a double bunk & single bed. Linen and bath towels are provided.
There is an open plan kitchen/ living room with DSTV & CD player. The kitchen has everything you need.
The Cottage looks out over the Hermanus Mountains, from Green Mountain (which gave Vermont it's name), all the way to Maansijnkop and beyond. It is surrounded by indigenous vegetation and the bird life is varied and abundant.
The barbeque area comes with wood for the first night.
There is a dam on the property for swimming, (the dam is filled from a bore hole and the water has a high iron content which stains, so pack in a old swim suit.)
The closest beach is Breakfast bay (1km) - it's quite a long way back up the dune after a day of swimming, snorkelling, fishing or exploring rock pools, but the small, protected beach is very popular and worth a visit
Onrus beach (3km) is where the Onrus River runs into the sea, forming a lagoon, which the kids love. The beach is beautiful and the waves are great.
The Vermont saltpan is 5 minutes walk from the cottage and a must see for bird lovers.
There are two dogs and some chickens on the property.
There is a no noise policy after 10pm.

Take thr R43 past Fisherhaven and then Hawston..
Take the 1st Vermont turnoff
to the right, Lynx ave, then
2nd left, Malmok cres.
We are the 1st house on the left.
