Zindela Indlela Bush House and Farm offer the better of two worlds! The rustic Bush House is situated in the Little Karoo on a large EU export game, ostrich and cattle farm covered with “fynbos” natural flowers and beautiful views of the pastel blue Outeniqua Mountains in the north.
And to the south it is only 19 km from Hartenbos and the white beaches of Mossel Bay visible from the gorges and valleys on the farm.
Zingela Indlela means “game tracks” and owners Deon and Rienie developed their luxurious Zindlela Indlela Guesthouse (see elsewhere on farmstay.co.za).
However, they also made provision for the more adventurous in a rustic bush camp in a self-catering Bush House on the farm. The house sleeps 6 persons, has a “takkraal” (tree branch kraal) lapa and is equipped with the basic utensils for self-catering. Guests must provide own bedding. The farm offers a large variety of recreational activities, including quad bikes and various quad, 4X4, mountain bike and casual hiking routes of varying difficulty which make for excellent game viewing and birding.
Game viewing: Excellent game viewing on farm – either on hiking trails, quad, mountain bike and 4X4 routes. The following game will be found on the farm: eland, kudu, blouwildebeest, zebras, impala, springbok, bushbuck, waterbuck, duiker and bontebok. Visitors will also get an insight in ostrich farming (incubating, rearing and breeding) and crocodile farming.

Hiking Trails: GAME TRACKS: CROCODILE ROUTE: Average duration ±45min Take a gentle ride with the Quads on only for 6.8km. Usually some game can be spotted and our turning point is our crocodile dam. The guide will explain to you why crocodiles? So to know, take the family on this trip! ZINGELA CIRCLE: Average duration: ±1.5hrs This is for the more adventures and a spectacular trail. Adrenaline levels do increase and you are all the time well guided. Halfway you stop to experience the tranquillity and the awesome view. Crocodile stop also included. Completion of this circle is a must for it is more likely to view more animals. CHALLENGING TRAIL: For the more dare devils and only second and third time visitors allowed. This trail is a challenge extension of the Zingela Circle. No lifting is allowed on this challenge. Only small groups are allowed to do this. Special bookings to be made for this trail. Only the most experienced guides to conduct this challenge. 4X4: Zingela's tracks are suitable for most 4x4 vehicles. Roads are well maintained and luxury vehicles will not scratch. This is a good route for the less experienced, however not recommended for first time users. This route is a self-drive tract.
